Lighthouse Pictures Announces Jameson Parker as New CEO

April 25, 2024, VANCOUVER — Lighthouse Pictures is excited to announce the promotion of Jameson Parker to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Formerly the Vice President of Production, Parker steps into his new role with a clear vision to expand the company’s production pipeline and explore new markets. Jamie Goehring, former CEO and co-founder of Lighthouse Pictures, will continue to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless transition and sustained excellence in service production.

Jameson Parker has been a vital part of the Lighthouse Pictures team for nearly a decade, working closely with co-founders Jamie Goehring and Shawn Williamson, who is also the founder of Brightlight Pictures. Parker’s impressive production portfolio includes titles such as “It Lives Inside” (QC Entertainment/Neon), the Sundance feature “Summer of ‘84” (Gunpowder & Sky), and Hallmark’s most-watched cable movie of 2022, “Three Wise Men and a Baby.” His extensive experience also includes work on “Julie and the Phantoms” (Netflix), the upcoming “Borderline” (LuckyChap / Red A Entertainment), and the Lea Thompson series “Chicken Sisters” (MarVista and Hallmark).

“I am very grateful for the trust that the team at Lighthouse has placed in me,” Parker said. “I am looking forward to working with Gemma and Jamie as we build upon the phenomenal work that Lighthouse has accomplished so far. It’s an incredible opportunity to enrich and expand the company’s brand – I couldn’t be more excited.”

Gemma Martini, founder and CEO of Martini Film Studios, expressed her enthusiasm for Parker’s new role: “Part of the strategy when acquiring Lighthouse Pictures was to expand the scale and scope of productions across Canada. With Jameson taking on the role of CEO, Jamie Goehring will focus his efforts on expanding the production slate, while continuing to work alongside Jameson on the day-to-day operations of service production for clients with our highly acclaimed production teams here in Vancouver.”

As Lighthouse Pictures embarks on this new chapter, the company remains committed to delivering top-tier content and innovative productions, reinforcing its position as a leader in the Canadian film and television industry.
